nice header. i want to change my blog's outlook/template too, but afraid it will affect my archives...
upload ur header somewhere then u got the address,
the go to template, and add the code, then ok la. ( after "body", before "!-- Begin #content --" ), you can view my code by right click you mouse.
its not that difficult. i also a new learner of html, after i started the blog :)
